The former Partizani striker has settled in Turkey after enduring a difficult spell on his debut season in England with recurrent injuries conspiring against him.
Ekuban has confirmed he will accept an offer to make his stay permanent.
“Coming here (in Turkey) was the best decision in my life. The club wants me to keep me. I intend to stay here. “he told Turkish media Haber 61.
The Ghanaian scored 18 goals in 42 matches in the 2016/17 season during his time at Albanian side Partizani.
His performance earned him a high-profile move to English Championship side Leeds United but his adventure turned into a nightmare after scoring just a goal in 20 matches.
However, the striker has regained his confidence since joining the Turkish side Trabzonspor on loan.
